Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unsightly appearance by installing the household Buddhist altar on a separate table desk in the narrow multi-storied building house.
SOLUTION: This is a small size household Buddhist altar mounted on a separate table desk in which the table desk is structured to be used in combination of the longitudinal direction or the lateral direction. The separate table desk has a form of either a plane U shape having three sides or a box type having five sides, and comprises a storing box on an inner board or a reinforcement board inside the table desk. And the small size Buddhist altar is mounted on the table desk. The design and color of the small size Buddhist altar and the separate table desk are coordinated, and when the table desk is used longitudinally, it can be used as a sutra reading desk by inserting the inner board toward the front direction and further, when it is used laterally, the inner board can be used as a book rack.
