To provide a housing device which can sufficiently be used by a wheelchair user by eliminating inconvenience and danger in using, utilizing a space effectively and enabling a user to house articles at a prescribed height and position.

In the housing device, plural housing means 2 are arranged vertically movably in a housing device main body 1 and a matter to be housed can be put into and out from at least one of the means 2 through a take-out port 3 formed at the front face of the main body 1. On both of the sides of the main body part 1 an elevating means 11 for supporting and elevating both of the sides of the mans 2 and a lowering means 13 for lowering them are arranged respectively in a vertical direction. Horizontal moving means 15 and 17 for moving the means 2 in a horizontal direction in the state of supporting both of the sides of the means 2 are arranged between the upper/lower ends of the means 11 and the means 13. With the rotation of the means 11, the means 13 and the means 15 and 17, the means 2 are moved in order to the mans 11, the upper horizontal moving means 15, the means 13 and the lower horizontal moving means 17.
