Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for fixing an axle (3) to the body of a motor vehicle by means of supports that are arranged in a slanted position with respect to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle in order to receive bearings (8) that are mounted on said axle. The inventive method consists of the following steps: the supports are placed on receptacles for said bearings that are interspaced in a perpendicular position with respect to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, whereby a joining technique is used; bore holes (12) are made in the supports at a certain distance to each other, whereby said distance basically corresponds to the measured distance from the bearings (4) of the axle (3); the axle (4) is fixed to the supports by means of a detachable connection between the bearing (4) of the axle (3) and the supports. The invention also relates to a welded support.
