Abstract:
To provide a technique that maintains an atmosphere inside an empty beverage container at an atmosphere not suitable for an organism to proliferate.SOLUTION: A beverage container 1 includes a stainless steel beverage container body, a stainless steel mouthpiece part 20, and a fitting member 30 including a gas valve and a beverage valve. A method of handling the beverage container comprises: a mounting step of mounting the fitting member 30 to the mouthpiece part 20; a gas filling step of filling the beverage container with inert gas, the beverage container being in a state in which the fitting member 30 is mounted to the mouthpiece part 20; a pressure maintaining step of maintaining an inner pressure of the beverage container after filled with the inert gas at a pressure higher than an atmospheric pressure by closing both the gas valve and the beverage valve; and a shipping step of shipping the beverage container which is filled with the inert gas, in which the inner pressure is maintained at the pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure, and which is not yet filled with a beverage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
