Abstract:

To provide a treatment method of a sanitary article capable of performing treatment at a prescribed moisture content, stably treating the sanitary article and shortening a treating time by improving treatment efficiency when treating used sanitary articles such as a paper diaper, a urine absorbing pad and the like.SOLUTION: In a treatment method of a used paper diaper where the used paper diaper 6 as a sanitary article is charged into the inner barrel separation tank 4 of a separator 1, water and a decomposer are supplied into a rotation drum and the used paper diaper 6 is separated to a composing material of the diaper and treated, the used paper diaper 6 is moisturized before being charged in the separator 1 and made so as to have a prescribed weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
