Title:
HUMAN BODY DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3624459
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce influence on a seating feeling by fixing a vibration detecting means in a part of a seat at an interval, by which a human body cannot sense the detecting means, from a contact face with a human body and determining existence of the human body on the seat on the basis of an output from the vibration detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: In a seat, a vibration detecting means 1' is fixed in a part, which is apart from a contact face with a human body by a fixed distance or more, and vibration applied to the vibration detecting means 1' is amplified so as to be transmitted to a resistor 13. When resistance in the resistor 13 is varied, voltage between both ends of the resistor 13 is changed, and in a signal processing means 8, this change in voltage is amplified by means of an amplifying means 8-a, filtered to a required frequency constituent by means of a filter 8-b, smoothed by means of a smoothing means 8-c so as to be outputted to a determining means 9. By means of the determining means 9, it is determined whether a human body exists on the seat or not. In this way, influence on a seating feeling can be reduced, and the human body can be surely detected.
