Abstract:
To provide an isolated human monoclonal antibody specifically bindable to human EGFR, and to provide related antibody-based compositions and molecules.
The anti-EGFR human monoclonal antibody of multiple isotypes is provided, which is produced by undergoing V-D-J recombination and isotype switching, alternatively, by a transfectoma or a non-human transgenic animal such as a transgenic mouse. Furthermore, pharmaceutical compositions each containing the above human antibody, non-human transgenic animals and hybridomas each producing the above human antibody, and a method for inhibiting the growth of EGFR-expressing cancer cells and a diagnostic method each using the above human antibody, are also provided, respectively.
