Abstract:
To provide a humidifier in which water is prevented from flowing out from the device in a condition where the device is brought down.
A humidifier has an arrangement for conducting humidification, wherein water stored in a feed water tank is temporarily collected to a water receiver, the water in the water receiver is directed to a vapor generating portion, and the vapor generated by the heating in the vapor generating portion is discharged outside of the device through a vapor blow-off portion. A valve mechanism is provided to the water receiver as a means to prevent leakage of water from the water receiver, thereby preventing leakage of water from the water receiver in the case where the device is brought down.
