To provide a generating system with higher efficiency not only by indirectly utilizing an exhaust gas of a high temperature operation fuel cell through thermal conversion of its reaction heat, but also by recycling as energy a synthesis gas which is produced by mixing the exhaust gas itself with a fuel and water.
In the hybrid generating system, the high temperature operation fuel cell 10 generates electric power by supply of a synthesis gas composed of hydrogen and carbon monoxide reformed and produced by a synthesis gas producing device 20 in which the fuel containing a catalyst 25. Simultaneously, the fuel cell 10 exhausts high temperature anode side exhaust gas 11 and cathode side exhaust gas 12, and a mixed gas in which the fuel is mixed in the anode side exhaust gas 11 is introduced to the synthesis gas producing device 20, and reformed again into the synthesis gas while receiving exhaust heat of the high temperature operation fuel cell 10 or a fuel device 30 as the reaction heat. The synthesis gas is supplied to the high temperature operation fuel cell 10 and the fuel device 30 by a distribution means 40, and utilized as the fuel.
