Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate search of a downhill section existing in a travel-planned route, thus performing appropriate support control.SOLUTION: A hybrid-vehicular control apparatus determines a travel-planned route on the basis of a present point of a vehicle, a destination, map information and other information. The control device performs: identifying a downhill section included in the travel-planned route using, for a road section where the vehicle traveled in the past, inclination information (actual inclination information) obtained during the travel, or using, for a road section where the vehicle travels for the first time, inclination information (already measured inclination information) stored in a navigation database 86; identifying, as a downhill control section, a section from a downhill control start point being a point closer to a vehicle 10 than a start point of a target downhill point by a given first distance to an end point of the target downhill section; and performing downhill control to decrease a target residual amount of a battery 64 when the vehicle 10 travels in the downhill control section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
