Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight saving hydraulic actuator.SOLUTION: Between a cap cover 1 and a rod cover 2, a cylindrical cylinder tube 3 is fixed. A piston 4 is slidably accommodated on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder tube 3. A piston rod 5 is connected to the piston 4 and slidably penetrates the rod cover 2. The cap cover 1, the rod cover 2, the cylinder tube 3, and the piston 4 are constituted of a magnesium alloy, a titanium alloy, titanium, or an aluminum alloy in which the tensile strength is equal to or greater than steel such as 520 Pa of stainless steel SUS304 and the relative density is smaller than 7.9 of stainless steel SUS304. On the other hand, the piston rod 5 is made of steel having a large modulus of Yong for preventing buckling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
