Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately intensify braking force in urgent braking, and to properly remove the braking force in releasing of braking operation.
SOLUTION: In this device, a control piston 30 exposing its rear side to a pressure chamber R4 and forming a regulator chamber R6 in its front side is liquid-tightly and freely slidably stored in the front of a master piston 20 inside a cylinder body 1, being arranged to interlocking to the master piston 20. The first opposing brake fluid pressure having the first characteristic is applied to the control piston against brake fluid pressure in the pressure chamber R4 applied to the control piston 30 by output power fluid pressure of a sub-fluid pressure source 40, and the second opposing brake fluid pressure having the second characteristic is applied to the control piston. A cutoff valve 90 is disposed, and applying of the first opposing brake fluid pressure or the second opposing brake fluid pressure by the output power fluid pressure of the sub-fluid pressure source 40 is regulated in response to operation condition of a brake pedal.
