PURPOSE: To reduce the frequency of operation of valve devices at the time of anti-lock control and also reduce noise caused by the operation of the valve devices by providing throttle passages for setting the flow of a brake fluid, flowing into wheel brakes from power fluid pressure source, to the desired value less than the flow of the brake fluid flowing out to a reservoir.
CONSTITUTION: First throttle passages O1L, O1R reduce the flow of a brake fluid, flowing into front wheel brakes FWBL, FWBR from a regulator valve RV through a third valve device V3, to the value less than the flow of the brake fluid flowing out to a reservoir R from the front wheel brakes FWBL, FWBR through second valve devices V2L, V2R and the first valve device V1 in regular succession, and also set the flow of the brake fluid, flowing into the front wheel brakes FWBL, FWBR from the regulator valve RV through a third valve device V3, to the desired value. Necessary durability can be obtained without using expensive material for the valve bodies and valve seats of the valve devices.
