Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain engine brake effect at the time of the first speed in a range except the first range with a compact circuit constitution.
SOLUTION: A hydraulic control circuit is equipped with a hydraulic servo B-2 for attaining the first speed engine brake; its pressure regulating valve 3; a shift vale 2 and a lockup controlling solenoid valve 7. Control pressure (Pstu) outputted from the solenoid valve 7 is applied to the pressure regulating valve 3 through the shift valve 2 during the first speed to make it possible to supply brake engaging pressure to the hydraulic servo B-2. In the case of over the second speed, the control pressure outputted from the solenoid valve 7 is returned to a lockup circuit by the changing over of the shift valve 2.
