Abstract:
To provide a drive unit for a press.SOLUTION: The present invention discloses a hydraulic drive unit for a press provided with a press cylinder assembly having one or more pressing chambers and retreat chambers. A fast-forward chamber may be also provided. The drive unit also has a pump unit having a variable number of revolutions. A pressing-side pump connection 4A can be connected or is connected to a pressing chamber 101 through a pressing duct 18, while a retreat-side pump connection 4B can be connected to or is connected to a retreat chamber 102 through a retreat duct 20. A control block 12 is provided with a pre-loaded low pressure accumulator 14 and a pump unit attached thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
