PURPOSE: To make the device small sized, by installing supporting frames at the front and rear end so that the axis of pipes to be tested may come to almost the same level as the level of the axis in the longitudinal direction passing through the center of gravity of main beams installed at the left and right sides with a prescribed interval.
CONSTITUTION: A main beam 1a is fitted on a supporting member 2a placed between bases 3a installed on a base plate 3 with a prescribed interval. Then, supporting fames 4a and 11a are installed in such a way that the axis of a pipe to be tested 30 may come to the same level as the level of the axis in the direction of length passing through the center of gravity of the main beam 1a. The supporting frame 11a is moved by means of a roller 18a on a rail 5a in accordance with the length of the pipe 30. A plural number of pipe carrying devices 40a and pushing-up machines 60a are installed to the space below the supporting member 2a. Numerous pipe frames are installed on a belt, and the pipe 30 is placed on them. The hydraulic pressure test is performed, while the pipe 30 is lifted up by the pushing-up machine 60a and held by a clamp and contacted to pipe connecting ports 7a and 22a. In this way, the device is reduced in size and the supporting frame can be moved easily, and thus, the working efficiency is improved.
