Title:
HYDROCARBON SENSOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3793065
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocarbon sensor being hardly affected by oxygen as well as hardly degraded in performance by heat.
SOLUTION: The hydrocarbon sensor is provided with a substrate 11 composed of a solid electrolyte conducting proton, and a pair of electrodes 12 formed on the surface of the substrate 11 at least one electrode of which contains Au and Al. Further the following relation is established if the content of an element Al is to be 'a' mole % and the content of an alumina 'b' mole % in the electrode: a+2b≤7.
