Abstract:
A hydrodynamic compression or cutting tool (1) comprises a housing (2), an electric motor (6) arranged in the housing (2) and having a motor rotational axis (24), a gripping portion (3) formed by the housing (2) and extending around the motor (6) and along the motor rotational axis (24), a hydraulic pump (11) arranged inside the housing (2) and which can be driven by the motor (6) so as to move a actuating piston (12) along a actuating axis (13), a transmission mechanism (8) arranged inside the housing (2) between the motor (6) and the hydraulic pump (11), two jaws (14, 15) connected to the housing (2) and to the actuating piston (12), and which can be moved between an open position and a closed position for carrying out the compression or cut, wherein the actuating axis (13) and the motor rotational axis (24) are reciprocally parallel and offset.
