The hydrogen separation membrane module 2 which selectively separates hydrogen in mixed gases, includes: a first joined body 25 formed by joining a first hydrogen separation membrane 22 with a first reinforcing plate 23 having hydrogen permeation holes 23a; a second joined body 25' formed by joining a second hydrogen separation membrane 22' with a second reinforcing plate 23' having the hydrogen permeation holes 23a', wherein the second hydrogen separation membrane 22' is joined to the first reinforcing plate 23; and a base plate 24 having a refined gas recover path 26 joined to the second reinforcing plate 23'.
