A hydrogen storage tank 1 comprises a plurality of hydrogen storage units 7 filled with a hydrogen storage material HSM and provided with an outer circumferential surface as a hydrogen storage and emission surface 6, and heating/cooling bodies 8 each placed between two adjacent units 7. Each heating/cooling body 8 has a hollow case 15 with an internal space as a first passage 16 wherein a heating fluid and a cooling fluid flow, and a catalyst layer 19 held on the internal surface of the hollow case 15 to accelerate a combustion reaction between combustion hydrogen of the heating fluid and oxygen.
