Abstract:
PURPOSE:To input various kinds of massive information by changing the states of at least two position designating sections of this apparatus by corresponding to the operation of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A position detector 1 detects the coordinate values of one or two positions designated by one or two among the position designating sections 72 and 73-76 of an information input apparatus 7 and sends the detected coordinates to a host computer 3 together with identification information. The CPU 38 of the computer 3 calculates distances LB and LC between the coordinates values and reads out the information of relevant keys s1-s20 from a table stored in a RAM 34 in advance when the CPU 38 receives the coordinate values corresponding to a tuned frequency fB or fC or the coordinate values respectively corresponding to the tuned frequencies fB and fC together with the coordinate values corresponding to a tuned frequency fA. Therefore, operational information corresponding to twenty keys can be inputted by using the three kinds of turned frequencies and five position designating sections.
