Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a power controller by which erroneous triggering of a floating switch control transistor(TR) at a high potential side is prevented. CONSTITUTION: Each of a couple of differential control inputs of a high level side drive circuit 100 is connected respectively to a couple of comparators 114-121, having 1st and 2nd threshold levels. A logic block 104 recognizes signals on 2-input control lines the threshold voltages, which are only a Vddh-1.5V or below on the one hand and Vdd-2.5V or below, on the other hand. When at least one signal in the two input control lines is between Vddh-1.5V and Vddh-2.5V, the logic block 104 disturbs a change in a state of a flip-flop 110 that controls a high-voltage switching TR which connects to a load.
