CONSTITUTION: The picture data applied from a receiving device 1 and code data accompanied with the picture data are supplied to a receiving means 21 of a first data processor, and the received picture data are successively stored in a picture data storage part 32 by the receiving means 21. When the storage is ended, the code data accompanied with the picture data and information indicating which part of the picture data storage part 32 the picture data are stored in are stored in a picture management data storage part 33. On the other hand, when input character strings applied from the inputting device are the character strings which need picture display, the picture management data storage part 32 is referred to by a second data processor 4, and when the information of the desired picture is present, the picture data are inputted from the picture data storage part 31 by a display means 41 based on the information, and displayed on a display device 5.
