CONSTITUTION: The parking condition in a parking device is detected as an operation mode, and an elevator base is moved onto the middle position of parking distribution so as to be in stand-by state. Next when the operation mode is set to be a delivery mode, a control part 4 reads out the parking condition stored in a memory device 5, and detects the parking distribution. At this time, the middle position is detected by computing a mean value of the elevatable distances from the intermediate position of an elevatable stroke to respective shelves garaging vehicles. Hereby, when delivery of an automobile is commanded, movement of the elevator base can be reduced.
