Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a paper money from jamming on a passage due to the oblique carrying of the paper money in a paper money identifying device. CONSTITUTION:This device is comprised in such a way that entry sensors 6, 7 are provided in the neighborhood of an insertion port 3, and passing time until the rear terminal part of the paper money passes the entry sensors 6, 7 after the tip part of the paper money arrives at an identification sensor 9 is detected, and it is compared with reference time. Therefore, when the paper money is inserted to the insertion port 3 obliquely, the passing time of the paper money from the tip part to the rear terminal part is shortened, which causes the paper money to jam when it is further carried, therefore, a carrying motor 10 is rotated in a reverse direction, and an inserted paper money is returned to the insertion port 3, thereby, it is possible to prevent the paper money from jamming.
