Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance grip performance by preparing two kinds of tyres which are symmetrical mutually in that the directions of auxiliary grooves are inclined oppositely and installing them in a pair of driving wheels in such a way that auxiliary grooves extend from the inside front of a rim to the outside back on a ground plane. CONSTITUTION:A type as the block 1 of the tread has plural linear main grooves 2 in parallel circumferentially and plural parallel auxiliary grooves 3 in linear or slightly curved forms, which are obliquely cross with respective main grooves 2. In this case, two kinds of tyres which are symmetrical mutually in that the directions of the auxiliary grooves 3 are inclined oppositely are prepared. Two kinds of tyres are installed in a pair of driving wheels of an automobile, for example, in a rear drive vehicle, they are installed in right and left rear wheels in such a way that respective auxiliary grooves 3 extend from the inside front of a rim to the outside back on a ground plane. With this arrangement, tyres with respective optical block patterns of treads are installed in respective right and left wheels on the front and near sides of the automobile so as to enhance grip performance.
