Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wet type complete feed by an extremely simple method at a low cost, having a short production cycle, high self stability, improved palatability of stock raising animals such as cattle, etc. and excellent practicality, and to provide a method for producing the feed. SOLUTION: Distillation residue of SHOCHU (low-class distilled spirits) is subjected to liquid-solid separation. The filtrate is concentrated and a concentrated solution having 65-80% water content is extracted. The concentrated solution is mixed with a mixed feed such as hay, grain, etc. to give a wet type complete raw material. Consequently the feed thus obtained has a high nutrient, a high shelf stability and excellent palatability of domestic animals as a wet type feed.
