Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify a double sending out detection method and devices in a securities issuing machine.

CONSTITUTION: In order to prevent double sending out of media by measuring the thickness of a medium or media after sending out the medium or media and comparing the measured value with the data obtained by measuring a medium and memorized beforehand without forcibly separating them, the medium or media 11 sent out is (are) made to pass between bearings 15 and 16 included in a thickness sensor section and sent to a bar code reading section 22 where the bar code is read, and the thickness of a medium memorized in a CPU 23 is compared with the value obtained by measuring by means of the thickness sensor to judge it double sending out or not.
