PURPOSE: To reduce machining processes, reduce the cost, and allow various designs by fitting an ornament base aimed for decoration to a semi-finish skeleton watch movement.

CONSTITUTION: A lower ornament base 2 and an upper ornament base 1 are fitted to the upper side and the lower side of a semi-finish skeleton watch movement with screws or hooks to obtain a finish skeleton watch movement. The hole shapes of the lower ornament base 2 and the upper ornament base 1 are made common with the hole shape applied to the based of the semi-finish skeleton watch movement 3 to show the motion of precise gears of a watch. The hole shapes of the lower ornament base 2 and the upper ornament base 1 can be changed in various designs irrespective of the hold shape applied to the crown of the semi-finish skeleton watch movement 3. Skeleton watch movements with ornament base can be completed when ornament bases 1, 2 are merely fitted to mass-produced semi-finish skeleton watch movements 3.
