PURPOSE: To shorten drying time and to prevent the damage of hair by constituting the hair drier of a bag-shaped part fully covering the hair, a part for fixing the bag to the head and a hot air generator for feeding hot air to the bag.

CONSTITUTION: The bag-shaped part 1 is put on the hair 5 and while this part is held fixed to the head 6 by means of a rubber band 2, the hot air is sent from the hot air generator 4 through a hose 3 to the bag-shaped part 1. The bag-shaped part 1 is meshed or opened with small holes in such a manner that the hot air sent therein is gently released together with steam. The hair dries as the prescribed time passes in this state. The rubber band 2 may be a belt or cord which suffices, insofar as such belt or cord can fix the bag-shaped part to the head. The bag-shaped part 1 is constituted to a mesh form by using polyester fibers, cotton, etc. The entire part of the hair is dried at one time if such hair drier is used and, therefore, the drying time is shortened and the damage of the hair is eliminated.
