Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent formation of a non-joined part in the center of rotation, and to prevent the heat affected zone from being thickened.
CONSTITUTION: A conical part 22 of gradual inclination is formed on the surface to be joined of at least one metal 20 of two metals 20, 21 to be joined, and the top 23 of the conical part 22 is pressed against the surface 24 to be joined of the other metal 21 to achieve the relative rotation of two metals 20, 21 around the top 23 of the conical part 22, and the top 23 of the conical part 22 achieves the rotational friction first.
