Abstract:
To provide an IC card capable of encrypting data stored in an EEPROM inside the IC card without using a writing-system command having a function of encrypting the data.
This IC card 1 has: an event detection means 10 detecting an event that is a trigger when encrypting the data 12 inside a user area 221 of the EEPROM 22 in a lump; and a data encryption means 11 operating when the event detection means 10 detects the event, encrypting the data 12 in a lump according to prescribed encryption algorithm, and updating the data 12 inside the user area 221 to a cipher.
