Title:
ICE HEAT STORAGE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04208378
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out continuous ice making by spraying a heat storage medium supplied from a heat storage tank downward from a spry nozzle, installing a rotary cooling plate which rotates around a vertical shaft to the lower part of the spray nozzle, and separating said heat storage medium from the rotary cooling plate, allowing the heat storage medium to be flowing under a further increased icy state.

CONSTITUTION: When an aqueous solution W is fed into a water supply pipeline 3 from a heat storage tank 1 which stores the aqueous solution W of polyethylene glycol by way of a pump P and sprayed over to a rotary cooling plate 6 located below from a water spray nozzle 8, this aqueous solution W is cooled on the rotary cooling plate 6 and adapted to flow in a film-like manner to the radial outside direction of the rotary cooling plate 6 by centrifugal force. At that time, the aqueous solution W is not only cooled but also iced and it is constantly separated from the top of the rotary cooling plate 6 by centrifugal force, which prevents the ice from depositing on the rotary cooling plate 6 and growing excessively and enabling continuous ice making.
