Title:
ICE MAKING MACHINE FOR SEAWATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3718148
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine for seawater which uses the seawater as a material and can efficiently manufacture sherbet-like or powder- snow-like ice constituted of minute ice grains hardly causing separation of the seawater from an ice layer and maintaining a viscous state for a long time.
SOLUTION: The ice making machine comprises a cylindrical ice making part which is provided sideways obliquely in the horizontal or vertical direction and has a seawater supply port in one end and an ice takeout port in the other, a refrigerant passage which is provided in the outer periphery of the ice making part and supplied with a refrigerant supercooling the seawater in this part, and a rotary member which is provided rotatably in the ice making part. The rotary member is equipped with a ribbon screw type agitating blade for agitating the seawater in the ice making part, a scraping edge for scraping ice sticking to the inner wall of the ice making part and an auger screw transferring the ice produced in the ice making part to the takeout port.
