PURPOSE: To prevent a dew formation or an adhesion of stains to an evaporator and improve a cooling capability by a method wherein the evaporator formed on an upper surface of an ice making plate is covered by a thermal insulating material without being exposed in a space.

CONSTITUTION: In an ice making machine in which its lower surface side is applied as ice making surfaces 20A and 20B and an ice making plate 20 constituting an evaporator 21 of a freezing cycle is arranged within an ice making chamber 18, the ice making plate 20 may form a part of an inner box 17A of a main body 17 of the ice making part, urethane foam is applied to the evaporator 21 to constitute the main body 17 of the ice making part in which the surface of the evaporator 21 is covered by a thermal insulating material 17B. In this way, since the evaporator 21 is covered by a thermal insulating material 17B without being exposed in a space, it is possible to prevent a dew formation or an adhesion of stains to the evaporator 21.
