Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying/managing steel products that identifies/manages the steel products and reduces a possibility of shipping steel products other than the predetermined steel products, a method for manufacturing steel products with identification information, and a steel product identification/management system.SOLUTION: The method for identifying/managing steel products SP includes: a first collation step S12 in which a reader HT collates label information that is recorded on a first bar-code of a label generated by a label generating device 14 and stuck to a steel product SP, with stencil information that is recorded on a second bar-code of a stencil sheet generated by a stencil sheet generating device 16; and a bar-code display step S13 that, after having determined that the label and the stencil sheet correspond with each other in the first collation step S12, displays a third bar-code corresponding to the second bar-code, on the steel product ST using the stencil sheet.
