Title:
IGNITION TIMING CONTROLLER FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58195066
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity for using an acceleration detector, by discriminating an accelerating condition through the interval of knocking generation in an ignition timing controller of an engine using a knocking feedback.

CONSTITUTION: A knocking signal is input from an input port 8009 for a digital signal. An ROM8001 and RAM8002 are used by a CPU8000 to control ignition timing. An acceleration condition is decided, and a timing control speed of the ignition timing is charged in accordance with this result. The instant of an acceleration is judged by the status of generating knocking (for instance, the interval of generation) further whether the status reaches a steady condition or not is decided in accordance with the internal of generating knocking or the like thereafter. The timing control speed is increased only during this time. In this way, the necessity for an acceleration detector is eliminated.
