Abstract:
To provide a medicine for preventing or treating immunological diseases such as allergic diseases on the basis of a new mechanism.
This IL-21 production-inducing agent contains a substance capable of inducing the production of IL-12 in dendritic cells, such as TLR ligand. The agent of the present invention especially strongly induces the production of IL-21 in NKT cells, and is useful for preventing and treating immunological diseases such as allergic diseases.
