Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device for a vehicle cabin which can reduce the cost and be inexpensively provided by giving versatility to reduce the number of components to be managed.SOLUTION: A light guiding body 23 that is formed in a rod-like body having a square cross-section comprises: a light incident surface 25a which is formed in one end face facing a luminous source 22; light emission surfaces 25b-25d which are sequentially arranged at specific intervals in a circumferential direction, and respectively form side faces along a light guiding direction 24; concavities 26 in which a plurality of concavities are arranged at specific intervals in each of the light emission surfaces 25b-25d and are lined up along the light guiding direction 24, respective positions thereof in each of the light emission surfaces 25b-25d are sequentially shifted in the light guiding direction 24, and total reflection cut surfaces 26a are formed in each inner surface of the light emission surfaces. The light guiding body is arranged corresponding to an illumination window of an interior material body 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
