To provide an illumination structure of a metering apparatus which can simplify a light source and a light guide plate and illuminate a dial and pointer of one meter in a different ambience from that another meter.

In an illumination structure of a metering apparatus having a speedometer SM and a fuel gauge FM disposed adjacent to each other, a light guide plate 3 is mounted inside a dial 2 of the speedometer SM. A light entrance part 3a is formed to a part of the light guide plate 3 and a light source 8 is arranged opposite to the light entrance part 3a. A facing plate 4 is arranged to cover a boundary part of dials 2, 7 of adjacent meters from above. An end part of the light guide plate 3 is set to project at the boundary part of the dials 2, 7 inside the facing plate 4. A light emission part 3b for radiating light towards the character panel 7 and a pointer 10 of the fuel gauge FM is formed at the end part. An emboss face is formed to a face where the light emission part 3b radiates light.
