Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing lens which offers good optical performance, a wide angle, compactness, and brightness of Fno≤2.4 and has a four-lens configuration.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens comprises an aperture stop, a first lens having positive power, a second lens having negative power, a third lens having positive power, and a fourth lens having negative power arranged in order from the object side, and satisfies the following expressions: 1.10≤f1/f≤1.28, -4.00≤f2/f≤-1.50, -0.45≤(R1+R2)/(R1-R2)≤-0.18, 0.05≤d2/f≤0.30, and 2.10≤ν1/ν2≤2.55, where f, f1, and f2 represent focal lengths of the entire lens system, first lens, and second lens, respectively, R1 and R2 represent radii of curvature of an object-side surface and image-side surface, respectively, of the first lens, d2 represents a distance from the image-side surface of the first lens to an object-side surface of the second lens, and ν1 and ν2 represent Abbe numbers of the first lens and second lens, respectively.
