Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match the color of an image displayed on a monitor with the color of an original image, when transmitting an image (the original picture) between a pair of computer image processing systems A and B.
SOLUTION: When image is transmitted between a pair of computer image processing systems A and B, a common color image is used as a medium image, and the medium image is read from the system A as digital data by a computer in the system B, and a color adjustment system of this computer is operated to adjust the color of the digital image displayed on the monitor of the computer, so that this color is substantially matched with the color of the common image, and a deviation value from the origin (zero point) of monitor display color data (lightness, contrast), saturation, and color balance), and color data of a digital image displayed on the monitor of the computer in the system B is corrected with the deviation value as a correction value, when an arbitrary image is transmitted to the system B via the system A.
