Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the retrieval time of a desired image by enabling a scrolling means to display an image which is not displayed according to a scrolling indication so that images do not overlap with each other on a display screen.
CONSTITUTION: When a scrolling indication means 3 indicates the scrolling of the whole image of a desk-top computer, the scrolling means reads the image (icon image or window image) which is not displayed on the display screen 4 out of a storage means 7 according to the scrolling indication and displays on the display screen 4 without causing images to overlap with each other. Consequently, the time of retrieval for the window image or icon image is shortened and the operation efficiency is improved.
