Title:
IMAGE DATA PROCESSOR, METHOD THEREFOR AND SUPPLYING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3444200
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily detect the position or state of an object by generating 2nd image data constituting a two-dimensional space from a 1st image data of light spot in luminance which is changed with the lapse of time and decoding a prescribed pattern from the 2nd image data.
SOLUTION: A video camera 21 outputs the image data of changes generated with the lapse of time in the luminance of the light spot of a light emitting device 11, obtained by a panning to an image processor 23. The processor 23 applies the required processing to the image data supplied from the camera 21. Namely, two timewise changes of luminance generated in one field period are converted into two spatial changes by panning. Then the position or state of the device 11 (object) is detected, and the detection result is outputted to a display device 24. Since the timewise changes are converted into two- dimentional space data on the image display and the space data are decoded, the position or state of the light emitting device 11 emitting the optical point can be easily detected.
