PURPOSE: To directly utilize image information drawn on a blackboard or the like as materials without additionally writing the assembly title or the like at the image data recorder to print the image information after picking up the image and recording it.

CONSTITUTION: Assembly record format data previously stored in a format data storage part 26 and title data previously stored in a key input data storage part 27 are synthesized, stored and held by storage part 28 for format data to be synthesized, and character information on the blackboard image formed through an image pickup lens 11 to a CCD 23 is transferred through a binarizing circuit 24 and a serial/parallel converting part 25 to a control part 21 as image data. Then, these image data and the format data held in the above-mentioned storage part 28 for format data to be synthesized are successively synthesized for each line at a data synthesizing part 29 and printed through a printing buffer 30 to a printing part 13.
