To provide an image input/output device with which individual setting is made possible for each document and a series of setting can be stored as a file.

A setting file management picture is newly prepared, an instruction for a document A is first set, and an instruction for a document B is then set; and when there are two documents to be handled, setting is completed, named and stored in an HDD. For example, it is stored as setting A. When the setting A is selected and a start key is depressed, the document A is stapled and output to be openes vertically in the lengthwise direction under double side summarization. The document B is then stapled and output to be opened laterally in the breadthwise direction under non-magnified double sides. The documents A and B are output as a single set, and a plurality of sets are output according to the number of copies to be output set separately from the setting A by a manipulation section. The documents are output on an eject tray, being repeated as documents A, B and documents A, B.
