A signal detection part 1 of image diagnosis or treatment supporting apparatus 100 detects image signal (reception signal) by performing 3D-ultrasonic scanning for the patient before and after treatment, and image data generation part 2 generates the first image data (volume data) before treatment and the second image data (volume data) after treatment based on the reception date. Area determining part 4 determines the display area based on the information of lesion part in the first image data, decision determining image data generation part 5 generates treatment result determining image data by combining 3D blood flow information before treatment in the display area of the first image data and 3D blood flow information after treatment in the display area of the second image data, and display the data on the display part 6.
