The image display device 4 for displaying the images includes: an image generating means (VDP) 456 for generating first data and second data being respective kinds of image data, and successively outputting by each line, an image signal according to line data where data for the portion of one line of the second data is connected to data for the portion of one line of the first data; a transmission path T1 connected to the image generating means 456, so as to transmit the image signal; first display means (a main display device) 41 connected to the transmission path T1, so as to display the image according to the first data, based on the image signal to be inputted; a distributing means (a distributing circuit) 457 connected to the transmission path T1, so as to acquire the second data, based on the image signal to be inputted, and to output the second data; and second display means 42 to 44 for displaying the images according to the second data which is outputted by the distributing means 457.
