Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build a field part which enables simple and quick changing of the situation of a playing field as viewed by players.
SOLUTION: A model horse of a horse racing game machine runs on a screen 4 (field surface) of a plasma display where an image of a riding ground in a horse racing field is displayed to perform a racing. A truck part 22 of the model horse has four photo sensors 24a, 24b, 24c and 24d for detecting an induced image A projected onto the field surface 4 to control drive motors 26a and 26b based on detection signals of the photo sensors so that an arithmetic part 25 follows the induced image A. As a result, the model horse moves following the induced image A projected onto the field surface 4 and so in the body of the horse racing game machine, the control of moving individual model horses is made possible by controlling the display of the induced image A projected onto the field surface. In addition, a different playing field can be presented by simply changing the image displayed on the plasma display.
