To provide an image display device which widely discloses information relating to fine adjustment of the sharpness of the image display device in each user and manages the information in an integrated fashion so as to ensure the mutual utilization thereof, and further provide an image display system.
The image display device stores the sharpness adjustment values of sharpness adjusting means and permits free outputting of the values to FDs (Floppy Disks), user PCs (Personal Computers) or a host PC connected to the Internet. The sharpness adjustment values of the one image display device 11 are formed in files of prescribed formats, are outputted to the host PC 2 and are unitarily stored in the host PC 2. Further, the files or the results of the analyses obtained by analyzing the files are made freely inputtable to the other image display device 21 through the Internet.
